Description

The lower deck comprises one master bedroom with en suite shower room, three single berths, one of which is currently being used as an office, a guest bathroom with Jacuzzi and a V-berth family room. The main deck is comprised of a large saloon and aft terrace, as well as a hidden laundry room. The upper-deck boasts a spacious modern kitchen with bar and panoramic view of the marina (fore), a dining room (mid-ship) and a large terrace with barbecue (aft).

Two by Two was the second-to-last Bondway to come out of the highly reputable Sun Hing Shing shipyard. Its original owner had her built to his exacting specification and spent an extra HKD 1 Million on internal decoration, giving the boat its distinctive, sophisticated style. Over the last 9 years, Two by Two’s present owners have kept the boat in impeccable condition.

This classic second generation Bondway houseboat is first notable for its futuristic exterior, with its powerful mega yacht-like prow and three-tiered panoramic reflective windows. The clever utilization of internal space is based on a 5-level mezzanine structure that separates the boat’s living areas by placing them on different levels, without the need for partitions or doors. As for the boat’s two hard-covered aft terraces, facing south-east towards the entrance of the Gold Coast Marina and Lantau , they are one of this houseboat’s most enjoyable features.

Whereas the vessel’s exterior is notable for its futuristic lines, the interior is a clever mix of modern functionalism (mezzanine kitchen, hidden laundry room, multiple concealed cupboards and storage areas) and sophisticated art deco themes (rounded corners, wave motifs on saloon ceiling, padded walls, dark wood veneers and beige carpets, mosaic-covered bathroom).  The perfect conjunction of functionality and style.
